Door Locks:
You will receive a unique 4 digit code before you arrive that will be active during your stay. This code will work on both the front and the back door. To activate the keypad touch the screen with the back of your hand until it lights up and then enter your code. To lock the door from the outside either enter your code again or press the lock symbol on the keypad.
Thermostat:
Press the up or down arrows on the touchpad until the desired temperature is reached and then press done. It should be on permanent hold. Please do not run the air conditioner with the patio door left open.
Garbage & Recycle Pick up Information:
The garbage and recycle pick up is Tuesday mornings. Please place both bins at the curb Monday evening for the Tuesday morning pick up. When the pick up service has been completed please return both bins to the garage.
Parking Information:
You may park in the driveway or in the garage.
Garage Remote:
You will find a garage door remote (key fob style) on a palm tree keychain sitting next to the welcome book. Please feel free to use it and keep your car in the garage. Don't forget to put it back in the same spot at the end of your stay.
Cleaning & Linen Service Policy:
The home is provided with pillows, linens, blankets, towels, kitchen towels, comforters, hand towels & washcloths including extras located in closets. A cleaning service to clean the house and linens on your departure is included on your invoice. This includes cleaning one set of linens on each bed. If the guest uses additional linens, the guest understands they will be expected to launder (wash, dry, fold and store) the extra linens that were used.
Guests are responsible for all debris, rubbish and discards and ensure they are placed in plastic bags and transferred to the large trash cans and recycle bins. Soiled dishes and cooking utensils are to be placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
Additional Supplied Items:
There will be two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom along with hand soap, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner. There will be at least two dishwasher detergent pods under the sink in the kitchen for use in the dishwasher. The laundry room will have at least two detergent pods for use in the washer. Please note that the pods go directly in the washer drum and NOT in the detergent tray. Any additional items will need to be supplied by the guests.
Yard Lawn Maintenance:
We have a lawn service that will stop out sometime during the week to mow and spray the weeds. Please do not interfere with their ability to perform this service.
Pool Service:
The pool service tech will be out on Tuesday to clean and service the pool. They will not knock or notify you when they will be there. Please do not interfere with their ability to perform this service. Also please note that the service day is subject to change based on holidays and weather related issues.
Pest Control:
Florida is famous for its beautiful sunshine and beaches, but we humans are not the only ones that enjoy it! Critters of all sizes, colors, and varying leg counts love it too! We have a pest control company that does regular service of the home and the property, but please excuse us if you come across one or two of these little buggers!
Automatic Sprinkler System:
The sprinklers in the yard are scheduled to run starting at 4:00 AM on Wednesday and Saturday.
